Where wood becomes heritage
Hand-carved pooja mandiras, temple chariots, doors and complete wood works — from a family atelier with over 40 years of sculpturing legacy and over 25 years of excellence.
Our Heritage
A legacy you can see. A craft you can feel.
Marikamba Handicrafts is a family atelier from Sirsi, in the heart of Uttara Kannada's wood-carving country. We build the objects at the centre of worship and welcome — the mandira a home gathers around, the chariot a temple processes with, the door a family passes through every day.

Our Craft, Your Vision
Nothing here is produced. Everything is commissioned.
Each Marikamba piece begins with your purpose — a deity, a doorway, a procession, a home — and is designed, carved and finished around it.

Pooja Mandira & Mantapa
A mandira is not furniture. It is the quiet centre of a home — a small temple, built with the same discipline as a large one.

02
Temple Chariots
The temple chariot is the most demanding form in our craft — architecture, sculpture and engineering in a single moving structure.

03
Wooden Door Carving
In Karnataka, a doorway is never just an entrance. It is the face a home shows the world, and the frame through which a family passes every day.

Wooden Pallaki
The pallaki carries what a community holds most sacred — so it must be worthy of the honour.

Temple & Home Wood Works
Beyond signature pieces, our atelier takes on complete wood work for temples and homes — the structural and the ornamental, together.

06
Wooden Sculpture
Sculpture is where our forty-year legacy began — reading the grain, finding the figure, and releasing it without fighting the wood.

Wooden Simhasana
A simhasana is a seat of honour — carved to elevate, to frame and to endure.
